An Edge Trigger is a ‘scene’, or image, that the Edge has been configured to capture. Each Trigger contains a single Virtual Sensor (ROI) from which vibration data is calculated. The Edge is designed to be configured with multiple Triggers and they are evaluated on a user-defined Cycle time. Triggers should be unique to capture all critical aspects within the scene; they are unique in terms of parameters such as image resolution, frame rate, light level, threshold level, and even the image itself when mounted to the Pan/Tilt accessory.
